Guatemalan Exporters Association - AGEXPORT - is a non-profit private entity founded in 1982. Its objective is to promote and develop non-traditional exports of Guatemalan products and services.

1. Business license.

2. Unified Tax Registry (RTU) of the company.

3. Utility bill (water or electricity).

4. Appointment of the representative registered in the Mercantile Registry.

5. Photocopy of the representative's personal identification document.

6. Fill out the online form for approval as a new AGEXPORT member.

The required documents for the exporter code application depend on the type of company. You need to scan the supporting documents in PDF format, with each document not exceeding 4 megabytes. The required documents based on the type of company are as follows:

Private corporation:

    • Business license

    • Corporation license

    • Appointment of the representative registered in the Mercantile Registry

    • Photocopy of the representative's personal identification document.

    • Voided invoice or authorized printing order by the Tax Administration

    • Authorized Signatures Registration Form RE-F-005

Individual:

    • Business license

    • Photocopy of the representative's personal identification document.

    • Voided invoice or authorized printing order by the Tax Administration

    • Authorized Signatures Registration Form RE-F-005

Governmental Organization:

    • Tax exemption issued by the Tax Administration

    • Permission from the Ministry of the Interior for its operation.

    • Appointment of the legal representative

    • Photocopy of the Personal Identification Document or equivalent of the legal representative.

    • Voided invoice or authorized printing order by the Tax Administration

    • Authorized Signatures Registration Form RE-F-005

College:

    • Tax exemption issued by the Tax Administration

    • Ministry of Education permission

    • Appointment of the legal representative

    • Photocopy of the representative's personal identification document

Church:

Simple Limited Partnership:

At the end of the online process through the platform www.seadex.export.com.gt/, you will enter a review state, the time that the management takes is two to three hours. Prior to approval, they contact you to indicate that your exporter code has been created and you must make a deposit of Q 92.00 to activate it.
